This itinerary is ideal for those who are on a tight schedule or those looking for a weekend getaway. A visit to Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater offers the best wildlife viewing experience for only two days. The concentration of wildlife in these two natural habitat zones offer great opportunities to see lots of wildlife in a short period of time.
Safari Day 1
Visit Tarangire National Park After your well-prepared breakfast, you will meet your professional safari guides at Korona Villa Hotel at 7:00A ready to kick off Arusha city heading to Tarangire NP to start off your game drives in this magnificent park. Tarangire is famous for its large collection of Baobab trees, spectacular large mammal population such as Lion, cheetah, leopard, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, and varieties of bird species just to mention a few, not to forget one of the largest concentrations of elephants in the country and East Africa at large. The afternoon will have our lunches at one of the best picnic site with a great view of Tarangire river that attracts animals for water. After your lunch will proceed to explore nature before you exit the park in the late afternoon and drive to Karatu village for dinner and overnight at lodge.

Safari Day 2
Visit Ngorongoro Crater After breakfast, we will leave the hotel around 6:45A ready for a short drive to the Ngorongoro conservation area entry gate. After a formal registration will enter this World Heritage site and Human Biosphere Reserve – the Ngorongoro for a full-day crater floor tour. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it’s also one of the new 7 natural wonders of Africa. In the afternoon will have a stop at the Hippo pool for our packed lunches before we continue with the game drive searching for the BIG 5, Big cats, ungulates, and much more in their natural home. In the late afternoon will ascend the crater and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight at our hotel or to airport for your flight to next destination.
This itinerary is a nice combination after OR before your expedition on Mt.Kilimanjaro or Mt. meru
