Ngorongoro crater – the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. This is one of Africa’s most famous sites with highest density of wildlife on the continent. The crater floor consists of a number of different habitats that include grassland, swamps, forests and Lake Makat (Maasai for ‘salt’) – a central soda lake filled by the Munge River. All these various environments attract wildlife to drink, wallow, graze, hide or climb. Although animals are free to move in and out of this contained environment, the rich volcanic soil, lush forests and spring source lakes on the crater floor tend to incline both grazers and predators to remain throughout the year.Most of our itineraries cover this breathtaking natural wonders
Lake Manyara National Park – Well known for the tree climbing lions, the soda ash lake that attracts thousands of flamingos and breathtaking scenery. This park is home of elephants, giraffes; zebras, wildebeests, impalas, waterbucks, and warthogs, the less-known shy Kik’s dik dik as well as the Klipspringer that dwell along the ramps of the escarpment. Leopards are hosted within the scattered forests and escarpment, while the healthy population of lions that are widely known for their unique tree climbing capability.

The Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds, huge Baobab trees, beautiful scenery and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park.
Located slightly off the popular northern Tanzania Safari Circuit, the park lies between the meadows of Masai Steppe to the south east and the lakes of the Great Rift Valley to the north and west. Within the northern part of Tarangire is the permanent River Tarangire also known as the life-line of the park particularly in the dry season when most of the region is totally dry. There are a number of wide swamps which dry into green plains during the dry season in the south.
