This Season of the famed Wildebeest Migration and Calving occurs annually in Tanzania’s Southern Serengeti & Ndutu region from approximately Dec to the end of March. Our well-crafted 5 days 4 nights Safari takes you right there plus exploring the world famous-Ngorongoro crater where you can see the BIG five in their natural habitat. All accommodations are in mid-range lodges and tented camp. Depending on your interest and availability, this tour can be customized.
Day 1. Arrival
This day is set aside as arrival day. Depending on your flight schedules, our driver will meet you at Kilimanjaro international airport. After a short introduction, you will take a short drive to your hotel – Planet Lodge or of the same quality (Subj to availability) where you will meet our safari manager for a full safari briefing and answering all question you may have. Enjoy your stay and look forward for a great day from tomorrow morning!
Day 2: Arusha – Ndutu
Full day exploring Ndutu and southern Serengeti looking. With a hundred of new calves born per day, under comfort of your guide, you will witness live show between predators and preys while the young one trying to survive at their best level. Dinner and overnight at Ndutu Heritage Camp.
Day 3: Full Day game viewing in Ndutu and Southern Serengeti
Early morning game viewing, looking for nocturnal returning home, catch the sunrise and cool morning before we drive back to lodge for well-prepared breakfast. Take packed lunches ready for a big day exploring nature at the best. Dinner and overnight at the same tented camp – Ndutu Heritage.
Day 4: Ngorongoro crater tour – Arusha
Early morning breakfast before we check out and take around two hours’ drive to crater floor for an incredible game viewing. Whether admiring the view from the crater rim or viewing wildlife down upon the crater floor, you’ll have a safari experience to remember in and around Ngorongoro Crater. Afternoon, will have a short break for hot lunch at Hippo pool before we proceed exploring the nature at the best. Late afternoon, will ascend and exit the conservation area and drive to Arusha city. Check in at Arusha planet Lodge or of the same quality, enjoy your dinner and relax.
Day 5: Transfers to airport.
Subject to your flight schedules, we you will have a private transfer to airport ready for your next destinations OR extend your stay in Arusha and explore the cultural expeditions, health hike on slopes of Mt. Kilimanjaro, coffee tour, shopping and alike.
